Donna believes that the best artwork is that which expresses feeling and emotion, and is happiest with her work when this is conveyed to the viewer. When she paints, she starts with an idea, and as she works at her best, enters another space where time doesn’t exist and the painting leads her where it chooses to go. She finds the process fascinating and exciting, and loves to experiment with unusual compositions and colours.
