Artist's Statement

My paintings are frequently based on musical themes; however, I also produce images inspired by a variety of subjects that reveal the artistic process. I use diverse techniques/materials including encaustic, oil, and mixed media. Movement, expressionism and ambiguity are common elements seen in my work.
